About Institute

WELCOME TO SUR TAAL PERFORMING ART Begun in 1999, it is an initiative of the dance aficionado’s Darshit Shah. Sur-Taal was found by Darshit Shah in March 1999 with 12 members which is now 2000 and more. Darshit Shah is an alumna from Gujarat University and is an eminent and renowned choreographer for numerous college shows. He has indefinite knowledge and enthusiasm to acquaint with the best moves and grooves in various forms of Folk Dances. Over the years he has become proficient at the forms of Dandiya Raas and Navratri. It was Darshit Shah’s vision to give a new dimension to one of the traditional dance forms of Gujarati Dandiya Raas and Navratri. Darshit Shah had great love for dancing, and to learn more was always on his mind. He would train students for Dandiya Raas and Garba (eminent dance forms in Gujarat). Soon after his graduation, he wanted to increase the bar by catering to more forms of traditional dances, and so he took Sur-Taal Performing Arts to new heights. Sur-Taal Performing Arts conducts sessions for all age groups. It has customized short term training module’s, tailored to suit the specialized requirements of corporate houses, educational institutes, weddings, events, etc. Surtaal Performing Art offers the Best dance classes in Ahmedabad and prepare Professional garba group in Ahmedabad,Gujarat,India.
